Ways to participate

You have ways to try Acton Academy North Cincinnati without having to switch schools, so you’re confident about your school choice for this Fall, 2025.

We have two afterschool programs coming up for children from any school, and a location you can tour!

1. Quest Club

Activities start on March 25 and end on May 1 and will be held at the Countryside YMCA in Lebanon.

Quest Club is a 2x/wk afterschool program to support children, ages 7-12, in having fun, being a problem-solver, and making a business.

Children will develop self-awareness, empathy, and critical thinking skills as they create their own product to sell.

2. Children’s Business Fair

The Children’s Business Fair is a one-day event where children get real-world experience and get to earn their own money!

The Children’s Business Fair is for children, ages 6-15, scheduled for Sunday, May 4, and will also happen at the Lebanon Countryside YMCA.

Space is limited on both of these programs and filling up quickly!

We have a location!

We are in final contract discussions for a beautiful music studio space in the Mason-Deerfield area.

Space will be limited to around 12 children to start, 1st-5th grade (roughly 6-11 years old), and it will serve us until we’re ready to grow into our next space.

We gave a tour recently to a 20+ year school psychologist with 4 children — 22-year-old twins, 14, and 8 years old — and she excited about the Acton model for her youngest.

Why would a school psychologist want a different setting for her child?

Similarly, a CEO of a major community center has 4 kids, 16-24 years old, and he told me, “ya know, I was a strong proponent of public schools when my kids were young, but now that they’re older and I see what they’re dealing with, I see why what you’re doing is so important and I think it’s what our community needs.”
